Here are some testimonials from a few people we have taught
"The name explains it all, '>>In~Control<<', the best tuition anyone could have. I felt totally at ease and now feel confident and happy to drive, passing my test first time. There were tough times but Joanna was a great motivator. A wonderful friendly environment that helped learning at ease. No other words could describe them but 'THE BEST' many thanks >>In~Control<<.

>>In~Control<< can be described in 3 words, Professional - you'll get top quality lessons; you'll wonder why they're so cheap, Dedicated - looking out for students is their number one priority, Precise - advice is always according to the standards'.

"I have met many experienced driver trainers in my career as an Approved Driving Instructor (ADI), and have learned a wealth of information from them as a result of good communication and a willingness to share great ideas and knowledge. In my opinion, an effective trainer should have the following tools: communication skills, experience, knowledge, confidence, adaptability, flexibility etc and most good trainers have all of these. Patrick Garner has these in abundance, and he is very successful. I believe that his real success comes from an ability to inspire, not just his clients but also his colleagues. Certainly I have personal experience of this.
When I joined the London Fire Brigade driving section as an LGV instructor, Patrick was then, and still is very supportive. He is a great motivator and has encouraged me constantly, to further my career. Whenever I have achieved additional training qualifications his delight has equalled mine. He is generous and has always given me sound advice when I've needed it and is not afraid to run an idea past me for my input. I admire him greatly because he has a real passion for driver training and will not compromise on standards. He constantly reviews his training methods and ensures that he and his trainers deliver a high standard of instruction and client care. I am delighted to offer my endorsement to Patrick and the >> In~Control << Driving School".

"Having been too scared for 25 years to learn to drive (after 1 lesson from my sister), I finally decided I would learn. Fortunately for me, my daughter had recently passed her test with >> In~Control << Driving School.
I have always been aware that cars kill; this is the number one reason why I have delayed learning to drive. For me the most important thing about driving was to make sure I felt “in control” of the car at all times as well as safe and relaxed behind the wheel - not being a danger to other human beings. These are the things I needed from an Instructor and is what I got. I was shown how to control the car at various speeds, what to do and when to do it. If I made a mistake, I was corrected and encouraged to do better. I was aware of the skill, ability and constant awareness my instructor had and this gave me the confidence to relax, as I knew if I messed up my instructor would not.
"The intensive driving course with Patrick enabled me to fit in driving lessons to a hectic work schedule. I found his tuition style and flexibility in booking lessons particularly useful. Following my intensive course with Patrick, I knew I was in good shape for my test and it was proved when I passed, even though this had been the first time I had driven in 7 years. As a person and an instructor I couldn't recommend him highly enough."
